Before the hustle and bustle of overspending and gift-giving, we have a special day of celebration this month where we spend time around the table with the people for whom we’re most grateful. We often devote these sentiments solely to family and friends and, believe me, I am grateful for them 24/7, always and forever. But we have another family with whom we share space, ideas, work, and yes, laughter. I’d like to take a moment to introduce you to my work family, those whose commitment and dedication support the mission and vision of Ciaccia CPA. I’m so thankful for my team! If you have yet to meet them, you’re in luck.
They’ve answered a few fun questions to give you some insight

The value of teamwork cannot be underestimated. For any doubters, and because I am a numbers person, here are some percentages to back it up. Foundr gives the following International Data Corporation predictions on outcomes for businesses that foster collaborative work environments:

30% lower staff turnover | 30% higher productivity |30% higher revenue per employee

While those numbers make for a good argument on the business side of things, there is something even more valuable about the team environment. Yale University stresses 5 reasons why teamwork is so important:

  1. Teamwork adds differing perspectives and feedback.
  2. Teamwork leads to learning.
  3. Teamwork can improve efficiency and productivity.
  4. Teamwork cultivates communication and strong work relationships.
  5. Teamwork brings an expanded sense of accomplishment.

I agree with these findings and would add some things I find even more valuable. It is so nice to enter our office and see smiling faces. It’s a pleasure to have a team that helps you share the load, tackle the day, and be your best. While you are away from home, it feels almost vital to have a team you can laugh alongside during the workday. Entrepreneurship can be rewarding but it can also be lonely. Having a team to back you up and support the company’s goals is just wonderful. Thank you, Ciaccia CPA Team, for the hard work you put in every day!
